The Hondata S300 is an add-in module for the factory OBD1 Honda Engine Computer (ECU), expanding its capabilities significantly. The s300 features include forced induction, datalogging, real-time parameter updating, and engine protection.
The new Hondata S300 Version 3 (white board) adds Bluetooth capabilities, ethanol sensor support, and a mobile app for Android and iOS devices, enabling wireless datalogging and display of engine operating parameters directly on your mobile device. The S300 is one of the most advanced OBD1 Honda/Acura tuning systems available, offering superior tunability with support for forced induction, datalogging, boost control capabilities, and more. Each Hondata S300 system sold by us at HA Motorsports has its own unique serial number from Hondata, verifying its authenticity and providing additional security.
The S300 system is sold as a complete package, including a USB cable, installation kit, and Hondata decals. It is recommended to use the latest version of Smanager with the S300 System, which can be downloaded for free.
The S300V3 introduces new features such as ethanol content sensor support, Bluetooth for datalogging/programming, faster data logging, CAN support, and serial output for dashboards like the AiM MXL and Racepak IQ3.

Please note that the s300 is compatible with B series and D series OBD1 USDM ECU's such as P05,P06,PR4,P28,P30,P61,P72,P75. Additionally, the s300 uses different connecting pins in the ECU from a standard chipped ECU and has a slot cut on the side for the USB connector. Therefore, the ECU must be modified for use with the s300. Additionally, the s300 is designed to fit in a full-frame ECU case (US and most markets) and will not fit in a JDM ECU case. For JDM square case ECUs, the Hondata S300J is required.
The s300 uses a high-speed USB connection for programming calibrations and datalogging, eliminating the need for USB/serial connectors. It can be updated in real-time without affecting the operation of the vehicle. Datalogging to the SManager software is built in via the USB port, and ECU sensors can be data logged, viewed, graphed, and saved for later analysis.
It is strongly recommended to have the s300 professionally installed, especially if the ECU has been previously socketed, to minimize the risk of damage.
